Dee writes in with an Office question
Question:What does Prop Res DLL not loaded mean? It comes up when I just open a Word document. And I cannot respond to Outlook emails if they are connected?
A. If you have a Lexmark printer installed then that may be the cause of your problem. You can uninstall the printer software, reboot and then see if the error goes away. If so then you can reinstall the software and check to see if the error comes back. If it does then you can search your computer for a file called lxbkprpr.dll and copy it into the C:\Windows\System32 folder on your hard drive.
If you use Outlook (not Outlook Express) and use Word as your default email editor which you can check under Options and then the Mail Format tab then this could be related to your Outlook problem.
