Answer: You can use the free Microsoft PowerPoint viewer software to open PowerPoint files and slide shows such as pps, ppt and pptx files. It will open files created in PowerPoint 97, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007 and 2010. It can be downloaded free from Microsoft and will run on Windows XP and higher.
