Microsoft Office Questions and Answers - Cannot Uninstall Office 2003

Steve writes in with a software question:
Q. I am having trouble with Office 2003 on my XP machine. Excel seems to work fine.  When I type a word document and try to save I get a message "The save failed due to out of memory or disk space (C:\\Documents and settings\\...\\  But there is plenty of room.  The real problem is that I cannot un-install Office 2003.  It goes so far in the install and I get the message "Error 2503:  An internal error has occurred. (   ) contact Microsoft Product Support Services.  Please help???

Have you tried a repair installation of Office instead of removing it?
 
You can also download the Office Removal Wizard tool.

You may also want to try the Windows Installer Cleanup Tool. It won’t remove Office but fixes problems with the Windows installer.
