Question:My system says that the SDM.DLL file needed for Word etc is missing; I use Win98SE; how do I find and recover this?
Answer: It appears that file is part of Microsoft Word and maybe other office applications. Do a search for SDM.DLL and if you find it then rename it and then reinstall Word. If you don't have your Word disks see if you can have someone that uses the same version of Word send you the file and place it where the other file was located. If you don't have the file to tell you where it was located you can place the file in the in the C:\Windows\System32 and the C:\Windows folders just to play it safe.
