Office Shortcut Keys

Many software vendors including Microsoft have shortcut keys that allow you quick access to certain tasks from just a few keystrokes rather than having to take your hand off the keyboard and using the mouse to go up to a menu item.

While these shortcut keys may differ a little from program to program, many of the keys will be the same such as Ctrl-C to copy and Ctrl-N for a new file or document. Microsoft Office has its own set of shortcut keys that you can use to speed up your tasks. They may not be the same shortcuts you are used to in other software but many of them will be the same since they tend to apply to Windows programs in general. Keep in mind that they may not all be the same depending on your version of Windows.

Here is a listing of the most common Office shortcut keys.
