Chassis Open Error Message - PC Hardware Questions & Answers

Question: Recently when turn on the pc I am getting a message "chassis is open and to Press F1 to continue or Press del to enter bios. I tried it the in bios but problem is not solved. Please help me.

Answer: On some computers there will be a switch that is tripped when the case is open to alert you of the fact. If you go into the BIOS there should be a setting to reset the alarm. Double check all of your BIOS settings to find the section for the alarm. If you cannot find it you will need to contact the manufacturer to find out where the correct area is.
