CDROM Tray Will Not Open - PC Hardware Questions & Answers

Question: I have an E drive and an F drive. My door for the CD F drive will no longer open. How can I fix this? Is there a way to get it to open?

Answer: Once the door on your CDROM decides not to open its pretty much time to get a new one. To open the tray all you have to do is get a large paperclip, straighten part of it out and stick it in the little hole on the front of the drive and push in. This will force the tray open to get your CD out. If you feel like doing this every time you use it then that could be an option too.
