What do I do I tried to do as it told me and all it did was count numbers to 2000 please help.
Answer: By the sound of the Novell error it seems that the computer can't find a valid boot disc so it is trying to boot off the network/network card.
You need to get into your BIOS and check the boot order and make sure it is looking to boot from the hard drive first before the network card. If it is set to boot from the hard drive first then you may have a bad hard drive or corrupt boot files.
You can try booting to a Windows CD and performing a repair installation which will reinstall Windows and leave your files and programs intact. Keep in mind that there is always the chance of something going wrong.
You can also try using the Windows Recovery Console to see if you can repair your master boot record.
Another option is to use your recovery CD that came with your laptop to restore your computer back to the state it was in when you bought it. By doing this you will loose any documents and programs you have added since you bought it.
