Software Questions and Answers - Java Not Working On PC

Question:Java problem. Any program that uses Java does not work. I have reloaded Java with all latest updates and verified that it is loaded. Enabled it every place I know to enable it. Can someone assist me with this problem? Thanks in advance.

Answer: First I would check your Internet Explorer options. Go to Tools, Internet Options and then the Advanced tab and make sure that the Java section is checked. You may also be having a problem with the older Microsoft Java interfering with the newer Sun Java. Check out this link to find out how to remove the MS Java from your system.
 
Make sure you have the latest Java software as well as the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) on your computer.
 
Finally I would try another web browser such as Firefox to see if its an Internet Explorer issue or Windows issue.
