Software Questions and Answers - No VB Support Detected Message

Dave writes in with a software question

Question:
When trying to access a video I keep getting the message “no VB support detected". How can I fix this problem? This just recently started in the last few days..

Answer: It sounds as though this video or the player you are using to play the video may require Visual Basic to be installed on your computer or it could also be a case of it needing the most current version. Visual Basic is a programming language from Microsoft specialized for developing Windows applications. It allows programmers to create applications by writing code to accompany onscreen objects such as buttons and windows. You can go to the Microsoft website and download and install the latest version.
