Trackless is a free program that will remove Internet Explorer history items that cannot be removed using the traditional methods. It removes URLs from the normally unreadable and invisible index.dat files in where Internet Explorer keeps history information by editing them but not removing them. It will also remove all your cookies so be aware of this if you have cookies you want to keep. Trackless will also remove URL information from the auto complete feature as well as removed temporary cached copies of web pages.
Trackless will work on all versions of Windows from 95 to XP/2003 but won't work on IE7 or higher. To download Trackless visit their website.
