Your best bet may be to run some of the free anti-spyware programs like Malwarebytes', Spybot and AdAware etc. to see if they can find the infection and get rid of it for you.
If you can't get rid of180 Search Assistant through uninstalling it, free anti-spyware software or manual deletion they you can try the 180 Search Assistant Removal Tool as a last result but it will cost you $40. You can download and install the program for free to see if you have the infection but it won't clean it unless you buy it.
