Q. I have a message that says Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API. I can't get around it even when I reboot. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

A. It sounds like your computer is having trouble going into hibernation. There is a fix from Microsoft that you can install to see if it fixes the problem.

You can also turn off hibernation if you don’t think you can use it or just try standby instead. Go to Control Panel and then open Power Options. From there click on the Hibernate tab and uncheck Enable Hibernation. Under the Power Schemes tab you can turn on System standby instead.
