Q. I get a small box that reads...TVAgent.exe-entry point not found..The procedure entry point poerreadacvalue could not be located in the dynamic link library POWRPROF.dll. What is this and how do I get it to go away?
A. TVAgent is software made by Cyberlink that comes installed on many HP computers. It is on there so that you can use your computer as a TV. It sounds like its trying to start some type of program or service when your computer boots. It may be looking for the powrprof.dll file which may not be there or be the wrong version. If you don't use your computer as a TV then I would see if you can uninstall the Cyberlink software from Programs and Features.
You may also want to check your startup items for anything related to Cyberlink or TVAgent and uncheck the box next to it in order to disable it from starting up with your computer.
