How do I delete a file without sending it to the Recycle Bin? - Common Computer Questions

Question: How do I delete a file without sending it to the Recycle Bin?

Answer:  If you want to delete a file and not have to empty it out of the Recycle Bin each time then there is an easy way to do that. When deleting the file simply hold down the Shift key at the same time you are deleting it. It doesn't matter if you are using the Delete key, right clicking and choosing Delete or using the delete X on the toolbar. As long as you hold down Shift at the same time it won't go to the Recycle Bin. Just be sure to be careful because if you didn't mean to delete it there is no going back without a lot of potential work.
