Q. I am trying to find the internet history on my computer for as far back as I can. I can only find it back months and we have had this computer since 2002. Is there a way to find that out and how?
A. By default Internet Explorer only keeps track of the past 20 days of internet history. If you want to increase this number for IE7 go to Tools, Internet Options and then click on the Settings button under Browsing History. For IE6 there will be a section under the General tab where you can bump up the number of days that the history is kept. The maximum number of days you can change this to is 99. After that you risk having problems with corrupting your history all together. There are 3rd party applications available that you can install to increase this limit if you want to do so.
