Question:
How to switch from a double click to a single click with the left mouse button?

Answer: To switch from a double click to a single click you will need to go to your folder options and change the setting there. Open My Computer or Windows Explorer and go to the Tools menu and then click on Folder Options. On the General tab you will see a section that says Click items as followed. Check the radio button that says Single-click to open an item.
