Get yourself on top of your game!
One of the highest-grossing video games of today is Halo Infinite. This realistic shooter video game provides players with a first-hand experience of what it's like to be in-game. That makes it more exciting and undeniably addicting.
Like all other video games, Halo Infinite contains interesting storylines. What sets it apart from the rest is its challenging approach to obtaining improved weapons and complex gameplay. As a result, Halo Infinite isn't exactly a beginner-friendly game.
And if you're interested in taking on the challenge that is Halo Infinite, then this article is for you. If you are not ready to read the whole thing, here are some quick hacks.
What is Halo Infinite?
Halo Infinite is the 6th installment on the Halo franchise. It is similarly a first-person shooter game that provides players a realistic experience as to what goes on in the story.
The game opens in the year 2560 and is often referred to as 167 Days After We Lost. This shows a continuity between Halo 5 and Halo Wars 2 which happened in 2558 and 2559 respectively. Similarly, as in Halo Wars 2, the main antagonists are The Banished lead by the menacing Escharum.
Despite this continuity in the storyline, Halo Infinite can still be played without playing Halo 5 and Halo Wars 2. And that's a good thing to know if you want to hop on straight to this game.
How is it Played?
Being a shooter video game, Halo Infinite is similarly played as the other games on the Halo franchise. Aside from the obvious upgrade in scenery and Player Menu, the way you play it is quite similar. So if you've been a fan of the Halo series, you don't have to adjust too much for this game.
But, we did notice two of the biggest differences between Infinite and the other Halo series. The first is that it has a larger area to explore. Bigger maps usually mean more challenges ahead, and that makes the game more exciting. Also, it has a lot of wide and open spaces, so hiding between walls to avoid getting shot at is not always an option. That will surely push you to become better at shooting.
And second, because of the larger area, the game creators also introduced a useful gear for our player – the Grappleshot. This gear allows you to travel up and between places and pick-up objects that are too far away. But useful as it is, it can be quite a challenge to operate when you're a beginner.
